When Westlife announced that they were playing two gigs in the 3Arena just before Christmas, everyone was eager to snap tickets up.

So it’s no surprise that the boys have added a third date to their intimate shows.

Their Home for Christmas shows mark the first time in over a decade that the band has played an indoor venue in Ireland.

Tickets went on sale this morning and were snapped up in record time. So understandably the boys announced a third date.

“EXTRA DATE ADDED!!” Nicky Byrne announced on Instagram.

“Ireland, we’re coming Home For Christmas! Tickets for our shows at @3arenadublin in December are now ON SALE 9AM TODAY, with an extra date added due to demand. We can’t wait to see you there!”

Ticket prices start at €72.10 including booking fee.

Last summer, the band played sold-out Irish, UK and European shows which included Wembley Stadium, as well as two nights at both Aviva Stadium and Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

After they play their three gigs here in December, they will head off to Asia for even more gigs. They will then return to Ireland the UK for a run of arena dates.

Westlife’s Twenty Tour sold a record 600,000 tickets across 27 cities and 13 countries, including two sold-out shows at Croke Park, Dublin (150,000 tickets) and 160,00 tickets across their Dublin and Cork Wild Dreams tour.
