HTTP Tunneling
HTTP Tunneling is a TunnelEx feature that allows a client application to communicate with another one in another network, using an HTTP proxy server. TunnelEx HTTP Tunneling allows you to work with an external Internet service bypassing the firewall.

When it can help? For example: if the local security policy restricts outside connections to non-HTTP port (usually only 80, 8080 and 443 ports are opened). In this case TunnelEx can help by creating a TCP connection to an external host via an HTTP proxy server, local or external. The new schema looks as follows: a client application connects to the port that TunnelEx is using to enter the HTTP Tunnel; TunnelEx uses an HTTP proxy server to bypass the firewall and to establish the connection with the required service.
Note: If your local network doesn’t have an HTTP proxy server or you can not use it for such purposes for some reasons - the Pathfinder Online Service always at your service.
